Learn More about Bryan Trottier: Bryan Trottier was chosen 22nd overall by the New York Islanders in the 1974 NHL Entry Draft; he would play 15 seasons with them.  He set a rookie record of 95 points in the 1975-1976 season, as well as winning the Calder Memorial Trophy for Rookie of the Year in the same season.  In 1978-1979 Trottier scored 134 points, his best offensive season, winning him both the Art Ross and Hart Memorial Trophies.  Trottier won four Stanley Cups with the Islanders from 1980-1983.  In the 1981 Canada Cup he played for his home country of Canada, however in 1984 he played for the United States as it was the country in which he lived and where his wife originated from.  Trottier's offensive abilities deteriorated greatly from 1988-1990, at which point the Islanders released him from his contract with the team.  He went on to play with Pittsburgh from 1991-1994, winning two more Stanley Cups with them in 1991 and 1992.  After his last season in 1994 he retired from professional hockey.  Bryan Trottier was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1997 and his number was retired by the Islanders in 2001. Learn More about Adam Graves: Adam Graves was an NHL left winger that was drafted 22nd overall by the Detroit Red Wings in 1986.  He became a regular with the Red Wings in the 1988-1989 season, only scoring 7 goals in 56 games but also amassing 60 penalty minutes.  His tenure in Detroit was short lived as he was traded to the Edmonton Oilers in November 1989.  He was part of “the Kid line” alongside Martin Gelinas and Joe Murphy who helped the Oilers with their 5th Stanley Cup in 7 seasons.  Adam Graves was signed by the New York Rangers as a free agent for the 1991-1992 season.  He was asked to fulfill the role as a two-way forward as he had during his highly successful junior career.  Graves responded well to the challenge increasing his performance with 26 and 36 goals in his first two seasons with the Rangers, helping them achieve the Presidents Trophy the first year with a league high 105 points.  He won his second Stanley Cup with the Rangers in 1994.  Graves played for the Rangers until 2001 when he joined the San Jose Sharks.  He retired his skates in April 2004. Kevin Lowe was originally drafted in 1979 by the Edmonton Oilers.  He played 13 full seasons with them.  Lowe helped the Oilers win 5 Stanley Cups and was the Team Captain in 1991-1992.  In December of 1992, Lowe was traded to the Rangers.  In 1994, Lowe and six other ex-Oilers helped the Rangers win a Stanley Cup.  In 1996 Lowe rejoined the Oilers.  Lowe started the 1997-1998 season with them but was forced to retire due to an inner ear infection that affected his balance. Although he retired, Lowe quickly joined the Oilers staff.  Some of the highlights of his career would be that he was the manager for the 2004 World Cup of Hockey Team and he also managed Team Canada at the World Hockey Championships. Learn More about Grant Fuhr: Grant Fuhr was a NHL goaltender drafted eighth overall in the 1981 Entry draft by the Edmonton Oilers.  He played ten seasons with the Oilers and won the Stanley Cup four times with them from 1983-1987.  In 1987 he also played in the NHL All-Stars Rendezvous series and in the 1987-19 88 season's Canada Cup to secure a win for his team. That same year he won both the Vezina Trophy for best goalie and the Hart Memorial Trophy for league MVP.  He also played in the All-Star games from 1984-1986 as well as 1988 and 1989.  In 1991 Fuhr was traded to Toronto and then again to Buffalo.  In 1993-1994 he had a successful season that resulted in a William M. Jennings Trophy for fewest goals allowed.  He was then traded to the Los Angeles Kings though he did not have another successful season until he signed as a free agent in St Louis for the 1995-1996 campaign.  He achieved two league records that season for games in a season (79) and consecutive games (76).  Fuhr did not complete the playoffs due to tearing three knee ligaments; he never recovered fully from the injury.  From 1999-2001 he served as the mentor for younger players on the Calgary Flames before retiring.
