Bowie (Bo) Horvat is an NHL center that currently plays for the Vancouver Canucks who drafted him 9th overall in the 2013 Entry Draft. He played for the London Knights of the OHL, completing his first rookie season with 11 goals and 30 points in 64 games. He helped his team win the J. Ross Robertson Cup as league champions. The following season he was 4th in team scoring with 33 goals and 61 points. He led the league in playoff goals which awarded him the Gretzky 99 Award for post season MVP.
Bo Horvat made his NHL debut on Nov 4, 2014. He finished his first regular season with 12 goals and 13 assists. During the playoffs, he had a team high 4 points in 6 games during the Canucks first round elimination to the Calgary Flames. In his second season, Horvat ended with 16 goals and 40 points.
In 2017, Horvat was named to the All-Star Team, the youngest Canuck to be selected since Trevor Linden. He was named second alternate captain on March 3, 2017 and he ended the 2016-2017 season with a career high 20 goals and 32 assists for 52 points.
Internationally, he has won gold medals for Team Canada in the World U-17 Hockey Challenge in 2012 and the Ivan Hlinska Memorial Tournament.
