Cam Fowler is an NHL defenseman playing for the Anaheim Ducks, with whom he was drafted in 2010.  Fowler is a quick skater and his powerful strides help him to easily transition from defense to offense, making him an effective force on the power play.

Cam Fowler is a natural athlete, playing both hockey and baseball in his youth.  From the age of 14, he was recruited by a number of National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division Schools.  Ultimately, Fowler chose to focus on hockey and was the first pick in the 2008 Priority Selection by the Windsor Spitfires.  He emerged as one of the top scoring offensive defenseman in the league with 55 points in 55 games.  Fowler helped lead the spitfires to the 2010 Memorial Cup Championship.

Internationally, Cam Fowler plays for Team USA where he played in the 2010 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships winning Gold in an overtime defeat over Team Canada.  In 2014, he was part of the Olympic team in Sochi where team USA finished fourth in the standing.
