Charlie Huddy was an NHL defenseman that played from 1979-1997.  The bulk of his career was spent with the Edmonton Oilers and he was a part of all five of the franchises’ Stanley Cup Championships.  He won the NHL’s first Plus Minus Award in 1983 and is the NHL all-time leader in Playoff plus/minus.  Reuniting with his Oilers’ teammates, Charlie Huddy played for 4 years with the LA Kings alongside Wayne Gretzky, Jari Kurri, Paul Coffey and Marty McSorley.  Charlie Huddy also played for the Buffalo Sabres and St. Louis Blues before hanging up his skates following the 1996-1997 season.  After retirement, Huddy remained with the NHL as a coach for varying teams including the New York Rangers, Dallas Stars and Winnipeg Jets.
