Learn More about Craig Anderson:

Craig Anderson is an NHL goaltender that currently plays for the Ottawa Senators.  He was originally drafted by the Calgary Flames in 1999 but they failed to offer him a contract.  He re-entered the Draft in 2001 and was signed by the Chicago Blackhawks with whom he made his NHL debut in 2002.

Craig Anderson was traded to the Florida Panthers in 2006-2007 season and spent much of the season with their AHL affiliate team the Rochester Americans.  He spent the next season in the NHL with the Panthers as backup goalie to Tomas Vokoun.  He set an NHL record for most saves in a shutout when he stopped all 53 shots he faced in a 1-0 win over the New York Islanders.  The next game was also a shutout against the Boston Bruins with 40 saves for a new NHL record for most saves with consecutive shutouts with 93.

The Colorado Avalanche signed Craig Anderson as a starting goalie in 2009-2010 where he helped his team reach the playoffs.  He was traded to the Ottawa Senators on February 18, 2011.  He’s been on the team ever since and on March 11, 2017 Anderson set a team record for most wins by a goaltender with 147.
