Devan Dubnyk is the current starting goaltender for the Minnesota Wild.  He entered the NHL in the 2004 Entry Draft, signing with the Edmonton Oilers 14th overall.  He made his NHL debut in the 2009-10 season as backup goalie to Jeff Deslaurier. By 2012, Dubnyk became the Oilers starting goaltender.

Devan Dubnyk was traded to the Nashville Predators in 2014 where he only made 2 starts before beings sent down to the AHL to accommodate starter Pekka Rinne’s return to the roster.  He was traded a few days later to Montreal where he was sent again to the minors without appearing in a single game.  Finally, he signed a one year deal with the Arizona Coyotes.

In January 2015 Devan Dubnyk was again traded to the Minnesota Wild where he immediately became the starter. Confidence restored, Dubnyk started 38 consecutive games, setting a franchise record.  He finished the season with an impressive 27-9-2 with 1.78 GAA and 5 shut outs.  He finished the season 3rd in voting for the Vezina Trophy and was awarded the Bill Masterson Trophy for his role in leading the Wild to the playoffs as well as his impressive comeback.  Devan Dubnyk signed a long term contract with the Wild was named to the 2016 All Star Game.
