Jack Eichel is a center that currently plays for the Buffalo Sabres.  He was drafted second overall by the Sabres in the 2015 League Entry draft.  He is regarded as one of the rising generational talents alongside the likes of Conner McDavid.  In 2015 he became the second freshman at Boston University to receive the Hobey Baker Award for top collegiate men’s hockey player.  After the draft, Eichel signed a three-year entry-level contract with the Sabres.  Eichel became the youngest Sabres player to score on October 8th, 2015 in his first NHL game.  He finished his rookie campaign with 56 points and 24 goals, putting him in second for both goal scoring and points among all rookies, as well highest scorer for the Sabres and second in points for the team.  He missed the first two months of the 2016 season due to a high ankle sprain in his left ankle that occurred on the 12th of October 2016.
