Learn More about Jeff Beukeboom:

Jeff Beukeboom was a hard hitting defenceman that played for the Edmonton Oilers and the New York Rangers from 1985-1999.  He was a fan favorite known for his hard body checks and willingness to protect his teammates.  Beukeboom was a fighter and accumulated 1890 NHL penalty minutes in his 804 games played.  Unfortunately his career was cut short due to a series of multiple concussions and post-concussion syndrome that lasted years beyond retirement.

Despite his shortened career, Beukeboom won 3 Stanley Cup Championships with the Edmonton Oilers in 1987, 1988 and 1990.  He also won a Stanley Cup with the New York Rangers in 1994.

After the NHL, Jeff Beukeboom turned to coaching.  He became assistant coach of the Toronto Roadrunners (AHL), Barrie Colts (OHL), Sudbury Wolves (OHL) and finally on July 1, 2016 he was named assistant coach of the New York Rangers.
