Johnny Gaudreau is a young hockey winger that currently plays for the Calgary Flames who drafted him in the fourth round of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.  Prior to the NHL, Gaudreau played for Boston College where he led all freshmen in scoring, he won MVP.  He was the 2014 recipient of the NCAA top ice hockey player, the Hobey Baker Award.  Johnny Gaudreau made his NHL debut that same night, scoring his first goal on his first shot in his first professional game.  He became the first rookie since Joe Nieuwendyk to reach the 50 point mark.  In the 2016-2017 season, he had a team high 61 points.  He won the Lady Byng Trophy that season for gentlemanly play, recording only 2 minor penalties all season.  Johnny Gaudreau just signed a six year contract extension with the Calgary Flames.
