Kelly Hrudey is a goaltender that played 15 seasons in the NHL for the New York Islanders, the Los Angeles Kings and the San Jose Sharks.  Kelly was drafted in 1980, in the second round 38th overall, making his NHL debut in 1984.

Kelly Hrudey was goaltender for one of the most memorable games in NHL history.  Game 7 of the Patrick Division semi-final against the Washington Capitals in 1987 went into quadruple overtime before the Islanders were ultimately defeated, became known as the Easter Epic-the sixth longest game in NHL history.

In 1989, Kelly Hrudey was traded to the Los Angeles Kings where he would backstop for 8 seasons.  Kelly Hrudey, nicknamed Hollywood by Kings Fans, helped lead his team to the Stanley Cup Finals in 1993.  Kelly Hrudey played 2 seasons for the San Jose Sharks before his retirement in 1998.  After Hrudey hung up his skates, he became became a full-time analyst for Hockey Night in Canada.
