Learn More about Marc Andre Fleury:

Marc Andre Fleury was drafted into the NHL first overall by the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2003 and he immediately entered the NHL as the youngest goaltender in the league at 18 years old.  In October 2003, he was named Rookie of the Month with a 2-2-2 record and .943 Save Percentage.  By 2005, Fleury had emerged as the Penguins starting goaltender.

By the 2006-07 season, the Pittsburgh Penguins had built a stronger, more offensive lineup around superstars Sydney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin and Marc Andre Fleury got his first 40 win season, tying the record set by Tom Barrasso.  By 2009, the Pittsburgh Penguins made it to the Stanley Cup Finals and thanks to Fleury’s diving stop with 1.5 seconds left in game, were able to hold on to win the Cup in Game Seven against the Detroit Red Wings.  Marc Andre Fleury won his second cup with the Penguins in 2016.

Internationally, Marc Andre Fleury represents Team Canada where he won two silver medals in the World Junior Championships and Gold in the 2010 Winter Olympics.
