Ryan Johansen is an NHL hockey center currently playing for the Nashville Predators.  Johansen was drafted into the NHL fourth overall by the Columbus Blue Jackets in 2010 after a very successful minor league season where he was the 7th leading goal scorer with 92 points in 63 games in the WHL.

Ryan Johansen made the Blue Jackets roster in 2011-2012 season.  He made his NHL debut on October 7, 2011 and had recorded 2 goals and 2 assists after his ninth game securing his place on the team.  2013 was a break out year for Johansen, scoring 33 goals and 30 assists, making him the third player in Blue Jackets franchise history to score more than 30 goals in a season.

Ryan Johansen was traded to the Nashville Predators in early 2016, bringing to his new team offensive force alongside teammate James Neal.  He helped lead his team to the NHL playoff where he scored 4 goals and 4 assists in 14 games played. Johansen has become a top line center for the Nashville Predators and his star is only getting brighter as the young Predators battle for the Stanley Cup Championship.
