Sam Reinhart is a professional ice hockey player who plays centre for the Buffalo Sabres.  Reinhart first started in the WHL on the Kootenay Ice from 2010-2014.

Reinhart was originally drafted in 2014.  He signed a three-year contract with the Sabres.  He scored his first NHL goal in October of 2014.  Reinhart assisted on a goal made by Nicolas Deslauriers which ended up being a 2-1 win for the Sabres. After that season Reinhart played another season with Kootenay and he played with the Rochester Americans of the AHL.

Reinhart went back to the Sabres in the 2015-2016 season.  He experienced his first career NHL hat trick against the Winnipeg Jets in a 4-2 victory in 2016.

Reinhart also played on an international level in 2012 when he competed in the Canada Pacific and from 2013-2016 he played on Team Canada.

Some of Reinhart’s notable achievements would be that he was Fan Choice Player of The Year in 2011-2012 and in 2012-2013.  Sam Reinhart was also the MVP of 2012-2013.
