Wayne Cashman was the last active player from the Original Six Era.  He served as captain of the Boston Bruins from 1978 until he retired in 1983.  He played in 1027 regular season games with 277 goals and 516 assists.

Internationally, Wayne Cashman represented Team Canada and he took part in the 1972 Summit Series.  He again served the role of enforcer or “Big Bad Bruin” as he called himself.
