During his time with the Leafs, Stanley helped take home four Stanley Cups in 1962, 1963, 1964 and 1967. Vanbiesbrouk was selected by the Florida Panthers which is why Richter had his first campaign as the team’s number one goalie. He posted a career best with 42 wins and a 2.57 goals-against-average. The Rangers also won the President Trophy for the second time in a row and Richter was named MVP of the NHL All Star Game.
