Claude Giroux is the top line center and current captain of the Philadelphia Flyers.  Claude Giroux was drafted by the Flyers in 2006 and promoted to full time status in 2008.  The talented hockey player originally started as a right winger but his tremendous puck handling and playmaking skills better suited him to the center position alongside teammate, Jakub Voracek, that made the top producing line for the Flyers.  During the 2012 Stanley Cup playoffs versus rival Pittsburgh Penguins, Giroux scored his first hat trick and finished the game with 6 points, setting a Flyers record for most points in a playoff game.

Claude Giroux is a dominant force on the ice and has made three All-Star Game Appearances in 2011, 2012 and 2015.  He is recognized as leader of the Philadelphia Flyers by being awarded the Bobby Clarke Trophy in 2011, 2012 and 2014 as team MVP.  He competed in the IIHF World Junior Ice Hockey Championships in 2008 and the World Championships in 2013.  Superstar Claude Giroux was also voted in as the cover athlete for EA Sports’ NHL 16.
