Learn More about Craig Berube: Craig Berube was an NHL enforcer that played from 1986-2004, playing in over 1000 career games with 3149 penalty minutes. Craig Berube went undrafted and signed with the Philadelphia Flyers as a free agent. Berube made his NHL debut in 1987 leading up to the Flyers playoff run. His tough grinding play earned him a spot on the team the following season and his penalty minutes were in the top 10 in the league. Craig Berube was traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs where he became part of the grinder line alongside Mike Foligno and Mike Krushelnyski. The line was short-lived when Foligno was sidelined due to injury and Berube was traded to the Calgary Flames. Craig Berube only spent a season and a half with the Flames before being traded to the Washington Capitals where he spent nearly six seasons. He bounced around the league for another 3 seasons playing the Philapdelphia Flyers, Calgary Flames and New York Islanders. In 2004 he signed as a player-assistance coach with the Philadephia Phantoms of the AHL.
