Wayne Gretzky Autographed Edmonton Oilers “Heroes of Hockey” Blue Adidas Jersey When Wayne Gretzky retired from the NHL he won 31 individual NHL Awards as well as four Stanley Cup Championships, all with the Edmonton Oilers. Throughout his career he played for four teams, the Edmonton Oilers, Los Angeles Kings, St. Louis Blues and finally the New York Rangers. Despite all of his untouchable records such as his 51-game point streak or his three consecutive 200-point seasons, Gretzky’s greatest accomplishments come from the impact he left on the game past his playing days. Whether it’s his transformative style of team hockey or the fact that coming to Los Angeles boomed the sport’s popularity so much to the point that the NHL added four expansion teams within the next 5 years, The Great One’s legacy and mark on the game of hockey will forever be unmatched. This Adidas Heroes of Hockey jersey is autographed by Wayne Gretzky. Gretzky’s signature was witnessed by an Upper Deck representative as part of UDA’s 5-step authentication process. Connor McDavid Autographed Alternate Adidas Edmonton Oilers JerseyThe Edmonton Oilers have worn several different variations of jerseys over the course of their franchise’s history but the team has most consistently relied on different variations of the classic royal blue and orange with a blend of white. To start the 2019-2020 season the Oilers unveiled their new alternate jersey, a darker navy blue with orange trim and lettering, removing all white from the jersey. The “ADIZERO” jersey was to be worn exclusively on Friday night home games and while the jerseys were met with some initial skepticism from traditionalists their popularity quickly shot up once fans saw how great they looked on ice. The team decided to keep the alternate jerseys after the 2019-2020 season and open it up to more than just Friday nights.
