Learn More about Pavel Bure: Pavel Bure is an NHL Hall of Famer that spent 12 seasons playing right wing for the Vancouver Canucks, Florida Panthers and the New York Rangers. Known for his outstanding speed he was nicknamed “The Russian Rocket.” He made his NHL debut in 1991 and won the Calder Memorial Trophy for rookie of the year, finishing the season with 34 goals and 60 points in 65 games. His rookie year was followed by two consecutive 60 point seasons. Pavel Bure was traded to the Florida in 1999 and in his first two full seasons with the franchise, Bure led the league in scoring, capturing two back to back Rocket Richard Trophies. Bure was traded to the New York Rangers on March 18, 2002. Unfortunately, a series of knee injuries left him unable to play and he announced his retirement in 2005. Bure was voted in on June 27, 2012, alongside Joe Sakic, Adam Oates and Mats Sundin. The Canucks retired Bure's #10 jersey on November 2, 2013. Stemkowski played for the Toronto Maple Leafs, Detroit Red Wings, New York Rangers and Los Angeles Kings. One of the milestones in his career was winning the Stanley Cup with the Leafs in 1967.
