Learn more about Joe Mullen: Joe Mullen is an American born player who played 16 season the National Hockey League with the St Louis Blues, Calgary Flames, Pittsburgh Penguins and the Boston Bruins from 1980-1997. Joe Mullen has won three Stanley Cups. One with the 1989 Calgary Flames and two more with the 1991 and 1992 Pittsburgh Penguins. Undrafted Joe Mullen began his career with the St Louis Blues scoring his first two career goals against the Minnesota North Stars on January 5, 1981. They came eight seconds apart and set a Blues franchise record for the two fastest goals by one player. On February 1, 1986 Joe Mullen was traded from the St Louis Blues to Calgary Flames where he quickly established himself as a fan favorite, scoring 38 points in 29 games to end the 1986 regular season. In 1989, Joe Mullen led the Calgary Flames to the Stanley Cup with 16 goals and 8 assists. Joe Mullen was traded to the Pittsburgh Penguins on June 16, 1990, playing 5 season and winning two more Stanley Cups with Mario Lemieux and company. During the 1995-96 season Mullen did play one year with the Boston Bruins before returning to the Penguins the following season, where he scored his 500th career goal against the Colorado Avalanche on March 14, 1997. Kunitz entered the NHL as an undrafted free agent, signing with the Anaheim Mighty Ducks in 2003. He split the season with the Ducks’ minor league team. In 2005, he was picked up on waivers by the Atlanta Thrashers where he played for only two games before returning to the Ducks. He played 67 games with the Ducks, scoring 19 goals and 22 assists to set a franchise record for a 41 point rookie season. Chris Kunitz continued to improve his game and in 2007 helped lead the Anaheim Ducks to the Stanley Cup Championship. The following season, he was named alternate captain by the Ducks franchise. In 2008, Chris Kunitz was traded to the Pittsburgh Penguins where played in the top lines alongside superstars Sydney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin. In 2009, Kunitz won his second Stanley Cup with the Penguins. He played his 800th career game in 2016 and won his 3rd Stanley Cup in the Penguins’ game 6 win over the San Jose Sharks. Learn More about Andy Bathgate: Andy Bathgate was an elite right winger and top NHL goal scorer that played predominantly for the New York Rangers as well as the Toronto Maple Leafs, Detroit Red Wings and the Pittsburgh Penguins. He entered the NHL in 1952 despite a horrific knee injury suffered in minor leagues and played all but 5 games in 11 seasons for the Rangers. He was an excellent skater, easily weaving his way through the opposing team and he had one of the hardest shots in the league. During a Rangers game vs. the Montreal Canadiens, Bathgate took a slapshot that hit goaltender Jacques Plante in the face which required stitches. When he returned to the game, Plante wore the first goalie mask in an NHL game. In the 1963-64 season, Andy Bathgate was traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs where he helped the Leafs win the Stanley Cup. The following year, he was traded to the Detroit Red Wings where he helped lead them to the Stanley Cup Finals. He also played one season with the Pittsburgh Penguins before joining the Vancouver Canucks of the WHL where they won two consecutive Lester Patrick Cups. In 1978, Andy Bathgate was elected into the Hockey Hall of Fame. On February 22, 2009, Andy Bathgate’s #9 was raised to the rafters by the New York Rangers.
