Tomas Hertl made his NHL debut in October 3, 2013 earning an assist in his first game. The following day, Hertl scored two goals for the Sharks becoming the youngest player to do so since Patrick Marleau. On October 8th, Hertl’s hot streak continued with him scoring 4 goals against the New York Rangers. He was named October Rookie of the Month with 8 goals and 11 points in 13 games.
Tomas Hertl is a young rising star with excellent agility and puck prowness. He is an excellent skater and is able to play all three forward positions.
