Learn More About Pete Stemkowski: Pete Stemkowski is a professional ice hockey player that played for fifteen seasons in the NHL.  Stemkowski played for the Toronto Maple Leafs, Detroit Red Wings, New York Rangers and Los Angeles Kings.  One of the milestones in his career was winning the Stanley Cup with the Leafs in 1967. Stemkowski played for the Leafs at the beginning of his career but was traded late during the 1967-1968 season.  He played with Detroit, he even achieved a 20-goal season.  Stemkowski was traded to the Rangers before the 1970-1971 season.  He played seven seasons.  Stemkowski had a fine first season which set the tone for his seven seasons of success with the Rangers.  This also included three straight 20 goal seasons. After his seven seasons Stemkowski was traded to Los Angeles.  With them Stemkowski finished his NHL career, playing only a season with the Kings.
