Whether it’s his transformative style of team hockey or the fact that coming to Los Angeles boomed the sport’s popularity so much to the point that the NHL added four expansion teams within the next 5 years, The Great One’s legacy and mark on the game of hockey will forever be unmatched. Connor McDavid Autographed Alternate Adidas Edmonton Oilers JerseyThe Edmonton Oilers have worn several different variations of jerseys over the course of their franchise’s history but the team has most consistently relied on different variations of the classic royal blue and orange with a blend of white. To start the 2019-2020 season the Oilers unveiled their new alternate jersey, a darker navy blue with orange trim and lettering, removing all white from the jersey. The “ADIZERO” jersey was to be worn exclusively on Friday night home games and while the jerseys were met with some initial skepticism from traditionalists their popularity quickly shot up once fans saw how great they looked on ice. The team decided to keep the alternate jerseys after the 2019-2020 season and open it up to more than just Friday nights. The following season Connor McDavid would notch his 500th point on February 17th, 2021 wearing these navy blue alternate jerseys. Muller struggled in Florida and was traded to the Dallas Stars in the middle of the 1999-2000 season. He became part of the “Grumpy Old Men” line with Mike Keane and John MacLean. After 4 seasons in Dallas, Muller retired at the end of the 2002-2003 season. Following his retirement as a player, Muller returned to the Habs as an assistant coach from 2006 to 2011. Learn More about Grant Fuhr: Grant Fuhr was a NHL goaltender drafted eighth overall in the 1981 Entry draft by the Edmonton Oilers. He played ten seasons with the Oilers and won the Stanley Cup four times with them from 1983-1987. In 1987 he also played in the NHL All-Stars Rendezvous series and in the 1987-19 88 season's Canada Cup to secure a win for his team. That same year he won both the Vezina Trophy for best goalie and the Hart Memorial Trophy for league MVP. He also played in the All-Star games from 1984-1986 as well as 1988 and 1989. In 1991 Fuhr was traded to Toronto and then again to Buffalo. In 1993-1994 he had a successful season that resulted in a William M. Jennings Trophy for fewest goals allowed. He was then traded to the Los Angeles Kings though he did not have another successful season until he signed as a free agent in St Louis for the 1995-1996 campaign. He achieved two league records that season for games in a season (79) and consecutive games (76). Fuhr did not complete the playoffs due to tearing three knee ligaments; he never recovered fully from the injury. From 1999-2001 he served as the mentor for younger players on the Calgary Flames before retiring. Fuhr was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2003 and the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame in 2004.
