On November 28, 2005 Ed Belfour won his 447th career NHL game to tie for 2nd place in wins with Terry Sawchuk and surpassed him on December 19. Belfour finished his NHL career with the Florida Panthers. In 2007, Belfour signed with the Leksands IF in the Swedish second division.
