Learn More about Billy Harris: Billy Harris began his hockey career playing for the Toronto Marlboros from 1968-1972. He was the first overall draft pick in 1972 and was signed on to the New York Islanders where he would play until 1980. He is known for being the first New York Islander as at the time it was only an expansion team. He was traded in March of 1980 to the Los Angeles Kings for Butch Goring, and the following year the Islanders would win the Stanley Cup. He played three seasons with the Kings before moving to Toronto for three seasons. He played one last time for the Kings before retiring after the 1983-1984 season. While Harris never played for a Stanley Cup winning team, he is known for helping to turn an expansion team into a predominant force in the league.

He was a goaltender that played for the Toronto Maple Leafs, Montreal Canadiens, New York Rangers, Minnesota North Stars and the Vancouver Canucks. Maniago was originally drafted by Toronto in 1960. He played seven games for the Leafs in the 1960-1961 season. He was picked by the Montreal Canadiens the following season. The high point of his time with Montreal would be a 14-game stint in the relief of the ailing Jaques Plante in 1963. Maniago had a good season with the Minneapolis Bruins of the CHL in 1965, winning the league's MVP award. After that he was traded to the Rangers. In 1966, Maniago competed for the starter goalie and was also given a questionable distinction by allowing Bobby Hull to score his 51st goal that year as Hull was the first in history to do so. In 1967, Maniago was the expanding Minnesota North Stars first pick for a goaltender. Due to Maniago’s play the North Stars were led to the playoffs five out of six of their first seasons however at the end Minnesota struggled. They tried to find a suitable goalie to help Maniago before taking Gump Worsley out of retirement in 1970. After 1974, Minnesota's fortune sagged as Worsley retired and Maniago was traded to the Canucks where he played two seasons before retirement. Seiling began his junior career as a winger but became a defenceman when he made the NHL. He played one game in the NHL for the Leafs before being sent down to the minors where he played for 2 different teams over the next couple of seasons before being traded to the New York Rangers where he played for the next decade. He was a good stay at home defenceman. He was claimed by the St. Louis Blues during the expansion draft but the Rangers traded for him the same day to keep him in New York. In 1974, he played for 3 different teams; the Rangers, the Washington Capitals and the Toronto Maple Leafs. He also played for the St. Louis Blues and Atlanta Flames before his retirement in 1979. Rod Seiling also represented Canada in the 1972 Summit Series where he played in three games. After his retirement as a player, Rod Seiling became a junior hockey coach. Learn More about Nick Kypreos: Nick Kypreos was a talented winger that showed great promise to become a leading goal scorer when he finished second in the OHL with 62 goals. He went undrafted in the NHL and signed as a free agent with the Philadelphia Flyers, although he made his NHL debut with the Washington Capitals. Kypreos struggled to score at the NHL level but quickly made a name for himself as a rugged enforcer. In his eight NHL seasons, Kypreos played for the Washington Capitals, Hartford Whalers, New York Rangers and his hometown, Toronto Maple Leafs. Kypreos spent a lot of time in the penalty box and was at the top of the league in penalty minutes. A career highlight for Nick Kypreos was winning the 1994 Stanley Cup with the New York Rangers. He was named Top Rookie in the CHL in 1995, and was a member of both the OHL and CHL All-Star teams in 1995 and 1996. He was the first overall draft pick in 1995 for the Ottawa Senators, though they could not come to an agreement. Berard returned to the CHL where he was named Defenseman-of-the-Year. Bryan Berard would be traded to the New York Islanders where he would become a successful player. His efforts were rewarded in 1997 with a Calder Trophy.
