Learn More about Billy Harris: Billy Harris began his hockey career playing for the Toronto Marlboros from 1968-1972. He was the first overall draft pick in 1972 and was signed on to the New York Islanders where he would play until 1980. He is known for being the first New York Islander as at the time it was only an expansion team. He was traded in March of 1980 to the Los Angeles Kings for Butch Goring, and the following year the Islanders would win the Stanley Cup. He played three seasons with the Kings before moving to Toronto for three seasons. He played one last time for the Kings before retiring after the 1983-1984 season. While Harris never played for a Stanley Cup winning team, he is known for helping to turn an expansion team into a predominant force in the league.

Learn More about Bobby Baun: Bobby was an NHL defenseman that played for the Toronto Maple Leafs, Oakland Seals and the Detroit Red Wings from 1956-1973. Known for his hard hits, Baun played for the Leafs for 11 seasons winning the Stanley Cup in 1962, 1963, 1964 and 1967. Baun is best remembered for his performance in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Finals in the 1963-64 season. Having broken his ankle earlier in the game, Baun returned in overtime and scored the game winning goal, forcing a game 7 which the Leafs won to clinch their third straight Stanley Cup Championship. During the 1967 Expansion Draft, Bobby Baun was selected by the Oakland Seals. Following a disasterous season with the dead last Seals, Baun requested a trade back to an Original Six team. His request was granted and he played another two seasons with the Detroit Red Wings. Baun was later traded back to the Toronto Maple Leafs for the 1972-1973 season where he only played 5 games before a hit from Mickey Redmond resulted in a career ending neck injury. Learn more about Bobby Hull: Bobby Hull joined the NHL in 1957 with the Chicago Blackhawks. He quickly blossomed into a star player, known for his incredible speed, end to end rushes, his powerful shot and blonde hair, he was nicknamed “The Golden Jet.” Hull finished second in voting for the rookie of the year, Calder Trophy. Hull became a leading goal scorer for the Blackhawks. He became the first player to score more than 50 goals in a season in 1966, ending the season with 54 goals, the highest season total of the Original Six era. Despite Hull being a superstar in the NHL, he felt he was not fairly compensated by the league. In 1972, he signed with rival World Hockey Association and the Winnipeg Jets for an unprecedented $1 million. Hull would go on to surpass his previous record for goals in a season, finishing with 77 in the 1974-75 season. After the merger of the Leagues, Hull played one more season with the NHL Jets before being traded to the Hartford Whalers. Hull ended his career with as impressive record of 1063 regular season games played in the NHL, with 610 goals, 560 assists and a total of 1170 points. Learn More about Brian Leetch: Brian Leetch played 18 NHL seasons in his career with the New York Rangers, Toronto Maple Leafs, and Boston Bruins. He is widely regarded as one of the top defensemen in NHL history. After only one year at Boston College, Leetch played in the 1988 Olympics for the US Olympic hockey team. Just days later he made his NHL debut with the New York Rangers in February of 1988. In his first full season, the following year he was awarded the Calder Trophy as well as being chosen for the NHL All-Star Rookie team. In 1992, Leetch became the only American defenseman, and fifth overall, to score 100 points in a season and was awarded the Norris Trophy. Two years later, in 1994, the Rangers won both the Presidents' Trophy as well as the Stanley Cup. Due to his performance in the playoffs, Leetch became the first non-Canadian to win the Conn Smythe Trophy. He served as captain for the American team in the 1996 World Cup of Hockey. Brian Leetch served as captain for the Rangers from 1997-2000. Leetch was traded to Toronto in 2004 but due to lockout the last year of his contract expired and he became a free agent. Learn More About Bryan Berard: While still in the minor leagues, Berard aided the Junior Red Wings to the Memorial Cup in 1995. He was named Top Rookie in the CHL in 1995, and was a member of both the OHL and CHL All-Star teams in 1995 and 1996. He was the first overall draft pick in 1995 for the Ottawa Senators, though they could not come to an agreement. Berard returned to the CHL where he was named Defenseman-of-the-Year. He was a goaltender that played for the Toronto Maple Leafs, Montreal Canadiens, New York Rangers, Minnesota North Stars and the Vancouver Canucks. Maniago was originally drafted by Toronto in 1960. He played seven games for the Leafs in the 1960-1961 season. He was picked by the Montreal Canadiens the following season. The high point of his time with Montreal would be a 14-game stint in the relief of the ailing Jaques Plante in 1963. Maniago had a good season with the Minneapolis Bruins of the CHL in 1965, winning the league's MVP award. After that he was traded to the Rangers. In 1966, Maniago competed for the starter goalie and was also given a questionable distinction by allowing Bobby Hull to score his 51st goal that year as Hull was the first in history to do so. In 1967, Maniago was the expanding Minnesota North Stars first pick for a goaltender. Due to Maniago’s play the North Stars were led to the playoffs five out of six of their first seasons however at the end Minnesota struggled. They tried to find a suitable goalie to help Maniago before taking Gump Worsley out of retirement in 1970. After 1974, Minnesota's fortune sagged as Worsley retired and Maniago was traded to the Canucks where he played two seasons before retirement.
