Teeder Kennedy helped to lead the Toronto Maple Leafs to 3 consecutive Stanley Cups from 1947-1949.  He became captain of the Leafs, a title he held for 8 seasons.  Kennedy became the first player in NHL history to win 5 Stanley Cup Championships and the last Toronto Maple Leaf to win the Hart Trophy for MVP.  Kennedy never wanted to play for another team and he retired a Toronto Maple Leaf in 1957.  He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1966. During the 1967 Expansion Draft, Bobby Baun was selected by the Oakland Seals.  Following a disasterous season with the dead last Seals, Baun requested a trade back to an Original Six team.  His request was granted and he played another two seasons with the Detroit Red Wings.  Baun was later traded back to the Toronto Maple Leafs for the 1972-1973 season where he only played 5 games before a hit from Mickey Redmond resulted in a career ending neck injury.
