Dennis Hull is a left winger that played 14 seasons in the NHL with the Chicago Blackhawks and the Detroit Red Wings.  He is the brother of hockey legend, Bobby Hull who he played 8 seasons with in Chicago.  A star player himself, Dennis Hull earned the nickname “the Silver Jet” while Bobby was “the Golden Jet.”  He scored a career high 303 goals with 351 assist for 654 points.

Dennis Hull was a member of Team Canada in the 1972 Summit Series, a highlight of his career.  He was on the “Goal A Game” line with Jean Ratelle and Rod Gilbert, scoring 2 goals and 2 assists in 4 games during the series.

Dennis Hull played in 5 All-Star games.  He retired as a player after 14 seasons and went on to become a broadcaster and educator after completing degree in history and physical education at Brock University.  He published a memoir of his hockey career entitled, “The Third Best Hull.”
