  • Kirk Muller New Jersey Devils Autographed Hockey Puck This hand signed Kirk Muller New Jersey Devils Autographed Hockey Puck has been personally autographed by Mr. Muller.  Included with your purchase is a Certificate of Authenticity from Slap Shot Signatures. Learn More about Kirk Muller: Kirk Muller was an NHL center that played for 19 seasons.  He was drafted second overall in the 1984 NHL Entry Draft after superstar Mario Lemieux.  Muller was an enthusiastic athlete that put his heart and soul into every game and excelled at the physical play, forechecking and fishing the puck out of the corners.  He was a natural leader and was named Captain Kirk by the New Jersey Devils.  In 1991, Kirk Muller was traded to the Montreal Canadiens where he quickly became a fan favourite, helping the Habs win the Stanley Cup in 1993.  His time in Montreal was short-lived when he was traded to the New York Islanders during the 1994-1995 season. Kirk Muller made it well known that he did not want to play for the Islanders.  He reluctantly reported to and played in a handful of games before he walked out on the team, forcing a trade.  He was dealt to the Toronto Maple Leafs where he was reunited with his former Habs’ coach Pat Burns.  Muller didn’t produce for the Leafs as expected as he was slowing with age.  He was traded to the Florida Panthers where he became a leader in the dressing room, more so than on the ice where his offensive production was all but gone.  Muller struggled in Florida and was traded to the Dallas Stars in the middle of the 1999-2000 season.  He became part of the “Grumpy Old Men” line with Mike Keane and John MacLean.  After 4 seasons in Dallas, Muller retired at the end of the 2002-2003 season. Following his retirement as a player, Muller returned to the Habs as an assistant coach from 2006 to 2011.  He was a coach of the Carolina Hurricanes from 2011-2014 and assistant coach of the St. Louis Blues from2014-2016.  He is currently an associate coach of the Montreal Canadiens. Learn More about Lanny McDonald:

Lanny McDonald is a retired NHL winger that spent 16 seasons playing professional hockey for the Toronto Maple Leafs, Colorado Rockies and the Calgary Flames.  During his career, McDonald scored 500 goals and accumulated over 1000 points.  The offensive forward had 3 consecutive 40 goal seasons with the Toronto Maple Leafs before he was traded to the Colorado Rockies in 1979.  The deal was met with fan protests outside Maple Leaf Gardens. Lanny McDonald was named captain of the Rockies where he only played in one full season before he was again traded.  This time he went to his hometown Calgary Flames where he would play for the rest of his career. Playing for the Calgary Flames, Lanny McDonald had some of the best years of his career.  The 1982-83 season saw McDonald battling Wayne Gretzky for top goal scorer in the league.  He finished the season with 66 goals, just 5 goals behind superstar Gretzky’s total of 71.  His 66 goals still stand as highest number of goals in a single season for the Calgary Flames organization.  He received the Bill Masterson Trophy for “perseverance, sportsmanship and dedication to hockey.”  He ended his career on a high note, winning the Stanley Cup in 1989.  His jersey number 9, was the first to be retired by the Calgary Flames.  As well, Lanny McDonald was the first Calgary Flame to be inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1992. Learn More about Marian Hossa: Marian Hossa is a Slovakian born right winger that was drafted into the NHL by the Ottawa Senators in 1997, 12th overall.  An injury delayed his NHL debut until December 1998 and despite the missed months on the ice, Hossa finished the season second in voting for Rookie of the Year.  Marian Hossa continued to challenge himself to improve his game and by the next season led the Sens in scoring. Marian Hossa was traded to the Atlanta Thrashers where he played for 2 seasons.  He set a franchise record as the first Thrasher to score 100 points in a season.  He led the team to their first division title and first playoff appearance.  Hossa spent one season with the Pittsburgh Penguins where they were the Stanley Cup finals by the Detroit Red Wings.  The following season, Hossa signed with the Red Wings in his quest for hockey’s biggest prize.  Ironically, Hossa did meet his former team in the Stanley Cup finals where the Red Wings were defeated by the Penguins. Playoff success was finally achieved for Marian Hossa when he joined his current team, the Chicago Blackhawks.  The “Hossa Hex” was finally broken in 2010 when the Hossa made his third playoff finals appearance in three years with his third team, the Blackhawks defeated the Philadelphia Flyers in 6 games, winning their first cup since 1961.  The Blackhawks would also take the Cup in 2013 and 2015.
