He played in only 19 games over four seasons with the Leafs before being signed as a free agent with the Edmonton Oilers. Muni was a solid defenseman that was an excellent shot blocker and penalty killer. Craig Muni spent seven full seasons in the big leagues with the fast flying Oilers, winning three Stanley Cup Championships along the way in 1987, 1988, and 1990. His last five seasons in the NHL were spent with the Chicago Blackhawks, Buffalo Sabres, Winnipeg Jets, Pittsburgh Penguins and the Dallas Stars. Craig Muni hung up his skates in 1998 after playing in 819 career games. He is currently an active member of both the Toronto Maple Leafs and Buffalo Sabres alumni.
