Jean Beliveau Signed Picture-Montreal Canadiens 8x10 Checking Photo This hand-signed 8X10 photo has been personally autographed by Jean Beliveau. To protect your investment, a Certificate Of Authenticity and a tamper evident holofoil from Slap Shot Signatures is included. Learn More about Jean Beliveau: Jean Beliveau was both a talented baseball and hockey player. He was offered a minor league pro contract at the age of 15 that was turned down by his family. He was also offered an NHL “C-form” contract by the general manager of the Montreal Canadiens-a standard contract that would have required Beliveau to join the Canadiens at a set date and salary. Again, his father refused to sign, instead signing a “B-form,” agreeing to play for Montreal if he decided to turn pro. Despite his success in the amateur Quebec Senior Hockey League (QSHL) and two brief appearances for the Canadiens in 1950 and the 1952-53, Beliveau was reluctant to play professionally. Habs GM desperately wanted Beliveau, a leading scorer in the amateur league, to play full-time for the Habs. The Canadiensowners, bought the QSHL and converted it from an amateur to minor pro league, forcing Beliveau to join the Canadiens for the 1953-54 season due to the previously signed “B-form.” Jean Beliveau spent the next 18 seasons with the Canadiens and was a crucial part of their success. Beliveau was a lightning fast skater, talented stickhandler and brilliant playmaker who could also score with his accurate and powerful shots on net. He became an instant fan favorite, all around team player and one of the greatest captains in league history. He played on 10 Stanley Cup winning teams, winning 5 consecutive Cups from 1956-1960. He was team captain for his last 10 seasons, the longest tenure of any captain in club history. Beliveauwas known as a gentleman both on and off the ice, leading by example, he was a mentor to new players and a valued confidant to veterans. Highly respected in the hockey world, Beliveau was the game’s greatest role model. After his retirement, he devoted his energy to helping those less fortunate through several charities. In 1971,Beliveau won his 10th Stanley Cup and his number 4 was retired on October 4, 1971. The Hockey Hall of Fame waived the three year waiting period and inducted Beliveau in 1972. Sadly, Mr. Jean Beliveau passed away on December 2, 2014 at the age of 83. Get your Jean Beliveau Signed Picture today! Free Shipping..Buy it Now!

History has indicated that wherever he went, the team was competitive. The more that was on the line in big games, the better Joe played." He was an offensive centre in Calgary and power play specialist, able to withstand the physical punishment required to stand in front of the net and battle defencemen for the puck. He led the NHL in power play goals in 1987–88 with 31 and finished in the top ten on four other occasions. Niewendyk played in the NHL from 1987-2006 for the Cargary Flames, Dallas Stars, New Jersey Devils, Toronto Maple Leafs and the Florida Panthers. Kirk Muller New Jersey Devils Autographed Action 8x10 Photo This hand signed Kirk Muller New Jersey Devils Autographed Action 8x10 Photo has been personally autographed by Mr. Muller. Included with your purchase is a Certificate of Authenticity from Slap Shot Signatures. Learn More about Kirk Muller: Kirk Muller was an NHL center that played for 19 seasons. He was drafted second overall in the 1984 NHL Entry Draft after superstar Mario Lemieux. Muller was an enthusiastic athlete that put his heart and soul into every game and excelled at the physical play, forechecking and fishing the puck out of the corners. He was a natural leader and was named Captain Kirk by the New Jersey Devils. In 1991, Kirk Muller was traded to the Montreal Canadiens where he quickly became a fan favourite, helping the Habs win the Stanley Cup in 1993. His time in Montreal was short-lived when he was traded to the New York Islanders during the 1994-1995 season. Kirk Muller made it well known that he did not want to play for the Islanders. He reluctantly reported to and played in a handful of games before he walked out on the team, forcing a trade. He was dealt to the Toronto Maple Leafs where he was reunited with his former Habs’ coach Pat Burns. Muller didn’t produce for the Leafs as expected as he was slowing with age. He was traded to the Florida Panthers where he became a leader in the dressing room, more so than on the ice where his offensive production was all but gone. Muller struggled in Florida and was traded to the Dallas Stars in the middle of the 1999-2000 season. He became part of the “Grumpy Old Men” line with Mike Keane and John MacLean. After 4 seasons in Dallas, Muller retired at the end of the 2002-2003 season. Following his retirement as a player, Muller returned to the Habs as an assistant coach from 2006 to 2011. He was a coach of the Carolina Hurricanes from 2011-2014 and assistant coach of the St. Louis Blues from2014-2016. He is currently an associate coach of the Montreal Canadiens.
