Chelios was drafted in 1981 by the Montreal Canadiens where he played from 1984-1990. Chris Chelios quickly established himself as a strong offensive defenseman, scoring 64 points in 74 games. He made the NHL All-Star game and the 1985 NHL All-Rookie Team. In the 1985-86 season, Chelios would win his first Stanley Cup Championship. Chris Chelios was traded to the Chicago Blackhawks where he played from 1990-1999. He was captain of the Blackhawks from 1995-1999. He made the NHL that year and was nominated to the NHL All Rookie Team. He played 2 seasons with the Whalers before he was traded to the St. Louis Blues. Chris Pronger flourished with the Blues and by his third season was named team captain. 1999-2000 was a career season for Pronger where he accumulated 62 points and won the Norris Trophy for league’s top defenseman and the Hart Memorial Trophy for NHL MVP. After 9 seasons Chris Pronger was traded to the Edmonton Oilers where he would play for only one season, leading his team to the Stanley Cup Finals. In June 2009, Chris Pronger was again traded to the Philadelphia Flyers where they would reach the Stanley Cup Finals in 2010. He would never again return to the ice. Although his contract was traded to the Arizona Coyotes, he is not expected to play for the team.
