Learn More About Reggie Leach: Reggie Leach is a professional right-winger who played 13 seasons in the NHL.  He played for the Boston Bruins, California Golden Seals, Philadelphia Flyers and the Detroit Red Wings.  Leach was originally drafted by Boston in 1970.  He played two seasons with them but was traded along with Rick Smith and Bob Stewart to California.  After playing three seasons with California, Leach was traded to Philadelphia for Larry Wright, Al MacAdam and Ron Chipperfield in 1974.  Leach won the Stanley Cup with Philadelphia in the 1974-75 season.  After a few seasons with Philadelphia, Leach played his last season with the Red Wings then retired. Leach's best season was 1975-1976 with the Flyers.  He set a career high with 61 goals 91 points and 11 game winning goals.  His 61 goals won Leach what is now known as the Richard Trophy and he also won the Conn Smythe Trophy that season. During his career, Leach scored 381 goals 285, assists and 666 points in 934 career games.  Leach was inducted into the Philadelphia Flyers Hall of Fame in 1992. During the 1967 Expansion Draft, Bobby Baun was selected by the Oakland Seals.  Following a disasterous season with the dead last Seals, Baun requested a trade back to an Original Six team.  His request was granted and he played another two seasons with the Detroit Red Wings.  Baun was later traded back to the Toronto Maple Leafs for the 1972-1973 season where he only played 5 games before a hit from Mickey Redmond resulted in a career ending neck injury.
