Chris Pronger flourished with the Blues and by his third season was named team captain.  1999-2000 was a career season for Pronger where he accumulated 62 points and won the Norris Trophy for league’s top defenseman and the Hart Memorial Trophy for NHL MVP. After 9 seasons Chris Pronger was traded to the Edmonton Oilers where he would play for only one season, leading his team to the Stanley Cup Finals.  The following season, Pronger was traded to the Anaheim Ducks where he was also named team captain, leading his team to the Stanley Cup Championship.
