Learn More about Craig Berube: Craig Berube was an NHL enforcer that played from 1986-2004, playing in over 1000 career games with 3149 penalty minutes. Craig Berube went undrafted and signed with the Philadelphia Flyers as a free agent. Berube made his NHL debut in 1987 leading up to the Flyers playoff run. His tough grinding play earned him a spot on the team the following season and his penalty minutes were in the top 10 in the league. Craig Berube was traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs where he became part of the grinder line alongside Mike Foligno and Mike Krushelnyski. The line was short-lived when Foligno was sidelined due to injury and Berube was traded to the Calgary Flames. Craig Berube only spent a season and a half with the Flames before being traded to the Washington Capitals where he spent nearly six seasons. He bounced around the league for another 3 seasons playing the Philapdelphia Flyers, Calgary Flames and New York Islanders. In 2004 he signed as a player-assistance coach with the Philadephia Phantoms of the AHL. Learn More about Don Beaupre: Don Beaupre was an NHL goaltender that spent 17 seasons playing for the Minnesota North Stars, Washington Capitals, Ottawa Senators, Toronto Maple Leafs and their AHL affiliates from 1980-1997. Beaupre was a strong netminder and rated a top goalie when he entered the NHL during the 1980 Entry Draft. The following season he shared goaltending duties with veteran Gilles Meloche. He appeared in 18 regular season games and 14 post season games including the Stanley Cup Finals. Beaupre was traded to the Washington Capitals and in 1989-1990 he won 23 out of 48 appearances helping to lead the Capitals to the semi-finals for the first time in franchise history. He won a career high 29 games the following season. Beaupre played two seasons with the Ottawa Senators before joining the Toronto Maple Leafs. He played the position centre for the Montreal Canadiens, Washington Capitals and the Hartford Whalers. Jarvis currently holds the spot for player with most consecutive games. Jarvis did not miss a single regular season game in his entire career. Jarvis was drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs first in 1975 but he did not play a single game with them. Very soon after being drafted he was traded to the Montreal Canadiens. Jarvis started his career there and played with Montreal for seven years winning four Stanley Cup Championships. Before the 1982-83 season Jarvis was traded to the Capitals along with quite a few teammates. The players turned Washington into a Stanley Cup contender team. In 1983-84, Jarvis was awarded the Franke J. Selke Trophy. Halfway through the next season Jarvis was traded again to the Hartford Whalers. With them Jarvis won the Bill Masterson Trophy. In the season 1987-88, Jarvis was sent down to the minors and then he retired. After his playing career Jarvis became a coach and assistant coach. Learn More About Pat Riggin: Pat Riggin was a professional goaltender who played in the NHL for the Atlanta Flames, Calgary Flames, Washington Capitals, Boston Bruins and the Pittsburgh Penguins. Riggin also played for the Birmingham Bulls of the World Hockey Association. Pat Riggin's first regular season was with the London Knights in the OMJHL, his first year in the NHL was 1979 with the Atlanta Flames. Riggin was very competitive about being the starting goalie but the Flames had a three-way rotation of him, Dan Bouchard and Reggie Lemilin. After a while it became a duo rotation with just Riggin and Bouchard but both had sizable egos and in 1982 Riggin was traded to the Washington Capitals. From the season, he joined the Washington Capitals, Riggin had a rollercoaster career. In 1983, Riggin was the number one stopper but Al Jensen soon took the spot and it was he who was chosen to play in the All-Star Game. After this Riggin hurt his back but the team was still able to secure the Jennings Trophy between the two goaltenders. In 1985-1986 Riggin was off to a slow start and was traded to Boston. He was compared to superstar Wayne Gretzky which led to a tough rookie season for the young winger. Half way through the season, Bellows vastly improved leading him to finish the season with 35 goals. In 1983, he was named interim captain for the North Stars making him the youngest captain at the time at 19 years and 4 month. Brian Bellows spent 10 seasons with the North Stars as a leading goal scorer and fan favorite. He was also known for his heavy commitment to charity work and was involved with many different causes including the Special Olympics, MADD and raising drug awareness. In a shocking trade, Brian Bellows joined the Montreal Canadiens in 1992. He had a successful season with the Habs that included 88 points (second highest in his career), and 15 playoff points that helped the Canadiens bring home the 1993 Stanley Cup. Bellows also played for the Tampa Bay Lightning, the Anaheim Ducks and the Washington Capitals. He ended his playing career in 1999 after become the 54th person in the NHL to score 1000 points in just over 1000 NHL games. When he was playing with the Portland Pirates Kölzig was awarded with the Jack A. Butterfield Trophy and the Hap Holmes Memorial Award. In 1995-96, the Capitals recalled him as their back-up for Jim Carey. In 1996-97, the Capitals acquired Bill Ranford and Kölzig stayed as a back-up goaltender. In early 1997 Ranford suffered an injury and Kölzig took over doing quite well, playing 33 games with a 2.20 goals against average. In 2000 Kölzig won the Vezina Trophy. Kölzig played with the Capitals until 2008 when he signed a contract with Tampa Bay. Kölzig got injured and he could not play through the entire season. In 2009 Kölzig announced his retirement. He played right wing in the NHL for the Washington Capitals, Minnesota North Stars, New York Rangers, Toronto Maple Leafs and the Phoenix Coyotes. With these teams Gartner played a total of 19 seasons. Gartner was originally drafted by the Washington Capitals in 1979 and made his debut that year in October against the Buffalo Sabres. 1979-1980 was a solid season for Gartner. When Gartner was traded in 1989, he left Washington as the all-time leader in career goals, assists and points. As of 2017, Gartner is third in goals and points and fourth in assists. Despite Gartner being a skillful player, he only lasted one season with Minnesota before he was traded to the Rangers. Gartner scored 11 goals and 16 points in the remaining 12 regular season games. The next season, 1990-1991, Gartner became the first player to reach his 500th goal, 500th assist and 100th point all in one season. The next season he became the first Ranger to score at least 40 goals in 3 consecutive seasons. Gartner was traded again in 1993-1994 to the Leafs. He played with them until 1996 when he was traded to the Coyotes before he retired, two seasons later.
