He played 11 seasons with the Flames and was their all-time leader in penalty minutes with 2,405. Tim Hunter also played for the Quebec Nordiques, Vancouver Canucks and the San Jose Sharks. He hung up his skates in 1997 and has been most recently an assistant coach for the Washington Capitals as well as an assistant coach for the Toronto Maple Leafs and the San Jose Sharks.
