Learn More about Vincent Damphousse: Vincent Damphousse is a retired NHL center that played for 18 seasons for teams such as the Toronto Maple Leafs, Edmonton Oilers, Montreal Canadiens and the San Jose Sharks. He was drafted 6th overall in the 1986 NHL Entry Draft by the Toronto Maple Leafs. He spent 5 seasons with the Leafs before being traded to the Edmonton Oilers. In 1992, Vincent Damphousse was traded to his hometown of Montreal where he had a nearly 100 point season leading the Canadiens into the playoffs. In the postseason, he had 23 points in 20 games and was the winner of his first Stanley Cup Championship. In 1998-1999, Vincent Damphousse was traded to the San Jose Sharks where he was one of their most consistent players. He scored his 1000th career point with the Sharks. Vincent Damphousse regards the 1991 All-Star Game as the highlight of his career. He was named MVP after scoring 4 goals and becoming one of only 4 players to ever do so. After retirement, Vincent Damphousse served as a hockey analyst for a French language television network in Montreal. Learn More about Wayne Cashman: Wayne Cashman was an NHL winger that played his entire 17 year career with the Boston Bruins from 1965-1983. The hard-nosed winger was on the formidable line with superstar Phil Esposito and Ken Hodge. His strength was in battling in the corners and forechecking. He also served as enforcer protecting Esposito and Bobby Orr. Wayne Cashman was part of two Stanley Cup winning teams in 1970 and 1972. Wayne Cashman was the last active player from the Original Six Era. He served as captain of the Boston Bruins from 1978 until he retired in 1983. He played in 1027 regular season games with 277 goals and 516 assists. Internationally, Wayne Cashman represented Team Canada and he took part in the 1972 Summit Series. He again served the role of enforcer or “Big Bad Bruin” as he called himself. After he retired as a player, Wayne Cashman served as assistant coach for many years for the New York Rangers and Tampa Bay Lightning. He became head coach of the Philadelphia Flyers for one season before being demoted to assistant coach ahead of their playoff run. Learn more about Wendel Clark here: Wendel Clark was selected first overall by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 1985 NHL Entry Draft and was converted from defenseman to forward. He quickly became known for his hard hitting hockey, refusing to back down to the toughest players in the league. He racked up 227 PIM during his rookie season and earned himself the nickname Captain Crunch. Clark was named to the NHL All-Rookie Team and finished third in voting for the Calder Memorial Trophy. Clark spent most of his career in the NHL as a Toronto Maple Leaf, and was named captain of the Leafs for the 1991-92 season. The following year, Clark led his team into a playoff spot for the first time in 3 years and the Leafs set team records with 44 wins and 99 points. The Toronto Maple Leafs advanced to the 3rd round against Wayne Gretzky’s Los Angeles Kings with Clark getting a hat trick in Game 6 of the series. Although Wendel Clark was traded to the Quebec Noridiques in a multiplayer deal for Mats Sundin, he came back to play for the Toronto Maple Leafs from 1995-1998 and again for his final NHL season in 1999-2000. On November 22, 2008, the Toronto Maple Leafs honoured their former captain by raising his number 17 to the rafters at the Air Canada Centre.
